Hello everyone.

Newb to being a registered poster but a long time reader and searcher here.

This is a vacuum hose that I broke yesterday and cannot seem to figure out what exactly it is.

2000 Jeep YJ Sahara
4.0
Automatic transmission
(Oil sprayed by previous owner, not leaking that badly)

I have been searching to find out what these vacuum hoses are but can't seem to figure it out. I broke this one changing my block heater cord by pushing my hand against it so it's pretty fatigued. I went over to the open parts store today and they said it was a likely a dealer only item (or at least they didn't have it). Can someone let me know what this hose is and / or link me to one I can buy (preferably in Canada) or a link to a schematic that tells me the name of the part?

Ends and breaks circled in yellow. I currently have the break pressed against itself with shrink wrap over top to stop any leaks. Seeing how easily it broke, there might be more breaks along the line or under the woven wrap.

Many thanks in advance.

Shouldn't be hard to make one, the hard line is sold at parts stores in various sizes as are packages of various nipples and elbows. Temporarily just slide the two ends together inside a short length of vacuum hose or any kind of soft tubing you can scrounge up.

Thank you for the rapid responses. I would not have thought to check cruise control as a location for these.
