Hey Jerry I can't remove the springs without disconnecting the track bar right? That way you can move the axle further up and down.you won't be able to cycle the suspension without removing the springs.

Ill prob have this computer out there calling or messaging yall. ha

How much bump stop extension and up travel do you have?I run Currie 4.5 springs and 35s with plenty of clearance no body lift. I’m sure 3” would also work for my rig
When did Currie come out with 4.5" springs for the TJ?I run Currie 4.5 springs and 35s with plenty of clearance no body lift. I’m sure 3” would also work for my rig
LJ rears are a bit longer than the regular TJ. I run them to compensate for my heavy tire carrier. When did Currie come out with 4.5" springs for the TJ?
I think you mean they have a higher spring rate.LJ rears are a bit longer than the regular TJ. I run them to compensate for my heavy tire carrier.
Possibly. But they are 18.25" vs 17.75".I think you mean they have a higher spring rate.
Exactly, a 1/2" taller free length doesn't necessarily translate into a 4.5" taller ride height.Nope. Same rate, Just 1/2" longer free length. This won't translate into a full 1/2" more ride height though. All Currie springs are advertised as either 3 or 4". But there are some "secret" options to fine tune the actual final heights on either end.

It doesn't necessarily translate into that but we have all 3 rear springs here most of the time and we dial in ride height up and down as needed by swapping in the various options since the 1/2" taller one would give a normal TJ with stock rear bumper, no back seat and a soft top about 7" of lift over stock.Exactly, a 1/2" taller free length doesn't necessarily translate into a 4.5" taller ride height.
