What MPG are you getting?

Would you admit to having the CD changer loaded with The Little River Band?

Well I don't have a LRB CD, but if I did I would listen to it. ;)

Currently I only have 3 in it.

The Cars greatest hits
The Beach Boys greatest hits
Lynyrd Skynyrd

I would expect a prius driver to be more into.

Taylor Swift
The Spice Girls

And things like that 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Best upgrade EVER. But I'm unique in the Jeep community in that I'm trying to make my TJ more comfortable instead of the other direction 🤣🤣🤣

I owned a TJ with a hard top once, for about 6 months on a flip I had, 05, and I could tell very little difference driving it and a soft top. As long as I had full doors. Half doors with flappy soft uppers, noticeable.

Most people have older soft tops and they flap and snap loud, get it back to tight and they are about the same as the hard top.

I got the Lexus CT200H (Prius) and the fuel savings over the Jeeps fuel (10-13 mpg) paid for the car and reduced my fuel bill by $300 a month. The battery is of no concern. They last 10-15 years and a replacement is under $2,000 because Toyota has it under wraps on the older Prius battery. No shame in having something that will save you money. Except I bought the one without the bad stigma. Most do not know it's a Prius.

My coworker recently picked up a CT200H, I jokingly told him "Nice Prius" and he got all defensive saying he would never own nor drive a prius......

Whose gonna tell him.....

Anyways, its a nice looking car and I have always been eyeing one since I would take a hybrid any day over a full on electric car.

I love shit like that. I remember one time talking with an acquaintance about his new to him Acura, a nice car, and at some point I mentioned I've always been a fan of Honda, to which he replied "but this is an Acura." I proceeded to inform him Acura is Honda's luxury name brand, and his car was in fact a rebranded luxury Accord. That seemed to upset him. After restating his car wasn't a Honda, I showed him all the Honda markings on the car, like every window and the engine. He still wouldn't accept it.

Don't get me started on the Hyundai Sonata YF/LF and Kia Optima TF/JF..... or the Fiat 124 /Mazda MX5

Same car, different styling for different price markets.

Best one is the Jeep Renegade, really gets their panties in a twist when you tell them its a really nice Fiat 500X. Look at the wiki page for the SCCS platform, you will soon realize that FCA has one modular platform for 18+ vehicles in their entire lineup... Like how the Fiat 500L and the Ram ProMaster City are the same vehicle....

Ok but what Scion? dont say its a damn iQ, could have just got a Smart 4Two for.

Or are you part of the tC cult.... Where you know its a Corolla but refuse to agree that all your replacement parts are stamped with the toyota logo.

Wait no, its gotta be the iM

Or is it the FRZ86 conglomerate of the trio?

Why do you only have a 12-gallon tank?
When I fill up, my jeep usually takes 15 gallons max, although I typically don't drive much longer without refueling when the light turns on, and am usually refueling prior to seeing that light 95% of the time.

Sounds like you have a 19 gallon tank then, because I do the same thing.

I still have roughly 45-60 miles of range left at that point depending on how early I pitstop for fuel. Fuelly calculates that 14-15 gallons is roughly 200 miles for me based on the recorded MPG of 13-14.5.

I had an 1981 300D Mercedes (diesel of course). I absolutely LOVED that car. Built like a tank. The metal on the body was incredibly thick. Some say it was the best car ever built. Alas, I totaled it.😔
