it pains me a little bit to say it, but every time I watch The Goonies I kinda want a very lightly modded, black, early XJ like the one driven by the Fratellis. Maybe even get some bullet holes airbrushed into the rear hatch.
You used to be able to buy bullet hole stickers that looked VERY real! Dunno if they're still available or not. A friend had several on his truck, the cops were VERY interested in it...

Yeah, those are great. I've watched a few of them and I believe that video has some of the same guys.
Doesn't get much better than seeing those old jeeps with little 4 bangers and pizza cutter tires, some without roll bars even, absolutely killing it.
So... like may not be the word but I was on a jeep history site and saw this bad boy.... I can't imagine why this didn't catch on...
Supposedly the camper was easily removable and just left a CJ5 with a short cab. Top speed must have been between 40 and 50 with those aerodynamics.
