What should I do about this rust?

Hi guys, small bit of rust on my TJ, see pic. Anything i can do about this?

Hmm, I'd be a bit concerned about how far that rust extends. These TJs are notorious for rusting out under the windshield frame. The rust next to the screw you can just carefully sand and touch up, but you might want to fold down the windshield to get the full story.

Remove that panel to get a better idea what is going on. And be sure to clean out any crud built up under there. Including blowing out the drain line.

Take the cowl panel off (it's easy) and have it stripped and repainted, taking care of the rust in the process.

Once it's off, it will be easy to remove the windshield and frame.

Remove them and have them stripped and repainted as well.

If you can see that rust on the outside, I can promise there is even more lurking on the inside. Those windshield frames are notorious for rusting out.
