What tire size are you running on factory Rubicon Moab wheels?

I'm running 255/85r16 toyo open country mt. Heaviest mud tire there is. Had slight rubbing on control arms, added washers under the stops to fix it.

thanks for the specific information. I’m hoping to head out there over the summer. Not quite ready until I get this regear accomplished.

These are 265 16s on factory Moabs so much room for height, but I’m concerned with rub 3” BDS with their FLCA. I think I have 285 with no issues. Anyone ha

Just to update, I picked up some 285/75/16 LRE Falken AT3 WildPeak. I am in love with them so far. 3" BDS and no rub so far. Haven't been hard off road yet.

Hey Fixer6 - I have a chance to buy some 315/75/16 Mud Claws on Moabs for $700 on Craigslist. Looking at a Rough Country 3.75” combo suspension (2.5) and body (1.25) lift For my 2003 X. Is this enough and have you made other suspension, brake, or gearing mods for your tires? Thanks!

Love the stock Moab’s look! I had to add four washers to my steering stops, and I don’t run any wheel spacers.

Mine are 235/85R16.

Yes I typed that right 235/85/R16. Roughly 31-3/4" x 9-1/4".

Everything is stock, no rubbing anywhere and skinny tires dig down in and don't fool around looking for traction.
