Pull the flares off and you'll have about 6.5" of tread stickout with 3.75" backspacing. Probably closer to 7.5" on the sidewall
These were the rage in the 90's. Loud, impossible to balance, and wore uneven no matter how many times you rotated them. On the positive side, they did look cool.Interco tire...don’t look quiet View attachment 125139

You’re right that looks like 5-6” of poke

I have to admit I see why.
RIGHTTT?? I feel in love with that look 20 yrs ago, and now...ITS TIME!
What kind of stupid haircut are you going to get to match the tires?
Probably 10" wide. 12" would look stretched. If you go 10" wide, look for backspacing of about 4.75". (That's equivalent to an 8" wide and 3.75".)I think that is a 12" wide wheel lol
All this is so true... but no one is listening.... I'm back to a full stock suspension with tall, skinny tires and a highline for clearance. Ride, handling, the ability to just drive thru standing water at 70mph.... I do not miss 33s... or 35s. Plus I went from 17mpg to 22mpg.... that 95 more miles between gas stations. I got into the bigger, wider in stages too but if you drive it daily.... pizza cutters under the stock fenders rule. There's a limit to how little offset can be run. Generally anything below -0.5" of offset (3.5" backspacing on a 15x8) is going to significantly increase bearing and ball joint wear. In addition the wider you go, the worse the handling is going to get due to the increased scrub radius.
