I’ve got a rubicon with around 200,000 miles on it.

transfercase feels fine but just thinking ahead to next winters projects and wondering if you guys would think it’s worth while pulling it apart to rebuild?

If it was just a 231 I wouldn’t. But these rubicon cases are hard to come by.
Thoughts??

If you want to do anything, make sure the u-joints and double cardan joints on the driveshafts are in good condition. There are multiple posts on this site of driveshaft centering joints seizing up. Generally the result is the transfer case splits in half, which renders it worthless because it can't even be rebuilt or sold for a core.

Keep the fluids changed and you shouldn't have any issues with the 241. My buddy had over 300K on his Rubicon when he sold it. He had to replace the transmission, but never had a problem with the transfer case.
