Where can I find a new PCM?

Watch what happens when you order from someone else such as FS1. I’m just trying to save you from making a very bad decision.

@Wranglerfix, will you please talk some sense into this guy 🤦🏻

I would shove a barb wire dildo up my ass before I bought from FS1...they stole a pcm from me..fuck those guys

Buy once cry once Mark may not be "cheap" but you get what you pay for. I guarantee no other pcm vendor is going to talk to you on the phone and not sell you something you don't need

Mark will also cut him a very good deal if he calls him, he usually does this sort of thing.

There is no other good PCM vendor out there. Mark is absolutely outstanding in every way. This guy just has no idea what he's about to get himself into if he decides to go another route. The horror stories I've read from all these PCM companies is absurd. Mark has told me how the other guys operate too so I understand why it is that there are so many horror stories. They take your money before they even have a PCM in hand, then they try to hunt one down. Sometimes it can take months and months to get a PCM after you order.

Mark on the other hand has them sitting on his shelves (I've seen photos!).

Mark and I sat down at a restaurant in Pigeon Forge after he stayed slammed all day at his booth at the Jeep Invasion trade show.

He laid out his entire operation and how he got where he is. He is a legit PCM specialist and knows soooo much about what issues a PCM can cause, and what it can’t. He also is not limited to Wranglers...his knowledge is pretty broad.

Yes he occasionally runs into something freaky, because people drive these in swamps and rivers, leave the tops off in rain and do all sorts of things that mess with the already complex circuitry they have. When he does, he handles it quickly and fairly.

The best thing you can do with your money is spend it with people that have integrity. That beats any warranty, and is cheaper in the long run.

He is competitive, just give him a fair chance. He is pro.

Wranglerfix very expensive. $1200
Is too much

The oem part has a 100% fail rate when it does fail. Stalling while driving, o2 sensors showing bad when good and loss of fuel gauge are the main failures. Anyone claiming to sell you a known good unit is selling you a pig in a poke. Companies offering lifetime warranties are limited to one (1) repair/replacement over the course of it’s lifetime.

PS

You are better off going down to Freemont Street and betting black at Binions rather than dropping 2 cents on a known good oem pcm.

You're right, it is expensive. But if it fixes your problem, it's much cheaper than buying a new ride. I can speak first hand to how it brought my 6spd back to life again, taking it from an unreliable POS (though it always got me home) to something I have confidence in again.

I bought a 05 tj. And now I find out that It needs a pcm and I don't know where to get a used or refurbished pcm For a good price

you might try Mark at wranglerfix . he wont sell you one if you don't need it and will try to help you figure out whats wrong with your vehicle even if it's not your PCM ! really great guy. we just bought one from him for a 06 6speed and it fixed our problems !:unsure::unsure: lets see spend $1200 for PCM and have running Jeep :Dor save $1200 and have a pile of scrap metal 🤬 CALL MARK YOU WONT BE SORRY !!!!

It doesn’t matter if Wranglerfix PCM’s were $3000. How much would a pcm cost before you said NO, and had your Jeep towed to a junk yard to be parted out?
I had to replace my pcm in 2015. I went with mopar rebuild, TWICE!!! $1550.00 seven years ago…
My original bad PCM had NO CODES!! 3 dealerships said there was nothing wrong with it. (I had the hard shift issue).
My bad pcm got turned in as a core, cleaned up, and since it had no codes, got sold to some poor sap who already had a bad PCM!

These are the kind of garbage PCM’s FS1, and the many others (that are owned by the same guy “) sell.
You have free will, but the correct answer is Wranglerfix.
