I got small gmrs and cb radios with all the controls on the microphone. I buried both mine behind the FM radio with cables running to jacks in the factory switch holes. Short of the antennas on the back once the mic is unplugged it completely disappears.I'm adding a small GMRS radio and looking for mounting options. Can you provide more photos of the mount, especially how it mounts to the Jeep? Their website is horrible.View attachment 275168
Another ARR mount here. CB is in the dash, GMRS and Ham on the ARR.
I have a Cobra 75, so that one is easy. The box is under my Tuffy console.Add a CB too or you'll be missing out on 90% of the trail communications.
This is my 2m ham plus CB underneath it. It's supported by the Arizona Rocky Road CB mount which requires no drilling and it hides the wiring too. It works so well I used it in both of my Wranglers.

@macleanflood don you have any photos of how you fit all that back behind the stereo?
This is the only pix I have - check out the end. Just bolts through an existing hole in the roll bar...Can you provide more photos of the mount, especially how it mounts to the Jeep? Their website is horrible.
It bolts through the front of the rollbars above the windows. There is an existing vertical bolt hole at the forward end of the rollbar so the bolt (1 per side) drops down through the mount and rollbar with the nut underneath. Can you provide more photos of the mount, especially how it mounts to the Jeep? Thanks. Is that the same hole the door surrounds attach to?It bolts through the front of the rollbars above the windows. There is an existing vertical bolt hole at the forward end of the rollbar so the bolt (1 per side) drops down through the mount and rollbar with the nut underneath.
Here's a little wider angle look at it.

Perfect. Thank you.
X2 the door surround knob replaces the bolt provided by ARR when you're running the door surrounds. With the distance to power I'd go one-gauge larger than that with wires that have a bit heavier insulation. I don't like to have to worry about vibration wearing through the insulation on power wiring.
