Where is a reliable place for switched power on a 2003 Rubicon?

It’s odd but Mopar during these years had really odd electrical things that do funky stuff. My 2006 Ram had some odd things it would do like throw random codes then run fine. 🤷‍♂️

A perfect example of this is the P0123 (TPS hi-voltage) being caused by a bad clock spring due to a shared ground and input into the ecu.

I have found that you can't just tap on anywhere without creating some electrical weirdness... What is a reliable place to tap on to get switched to power on the fuse block behind the glove compartment.

On my '06 I used a mini add-a-circuit at position 18 of the fuse block behind the glove box - marked Cigar Lighter.

It is switched power - I use the tapped circuit to power my Garmin navigator, dash cam and charger for my Garmin inReach.

I would use a test light/DMM to locate a switched power fuse in the glovebox. You could then use a fused add a circuit.

Whatever you do, do NOT piggyback on Solenoid fuse 11, or you may find yourself without AC like I was while in NV.

Did you run an inline fuse when you tapped into this? I am trying to find a source for an electric radiator fan relay.
