Hello Forum Members,

I am shopping around for a Savvy / Currie 4 inch lift kit for my TJ, and am not quite sure what's the best place to get it.

I know there is a thread about Savvy going out of business or changing owners, but could not quite get whether they are not shipping any products at all, or what's the status (I thought of this shop).

On the other hand, there is DPG offroad that offers the Currie kit, but I know nothing about them.

Finally, there is RockJock, but their kit is 1k more expensive compared to the other two websites.

I find it curious, that there are not that many options to purchase the kit...

Any advice would be appreciated!

Savvy no longer has 4" suspension lift kits available for the TJ, or at least they don't have any in stock and it's doubtful they'll be back in stock for the foreseeable future. I'd get the Currie 4" from https://www.rockjock4x4.com/?gclid=...GV7OqeJK6mii9VjCvlJS6vmWkdbGEneRoC9YgQAvD_BwE who is Currie's offroad division. Their sales people are very technically astute and they'll guide you through the process and tell you what you need. You'll also need a SYE (slip yoke eliminator) installed into your transfer case and a rearDC (double-cardan aka CV) driveshaft. You can get that from @Shawn at Tom Wood's at www.4xshaft.com who has unsurpassed pre and post-sales support. I've installed 4-5 of their driveshafts on my TJs, they are excellent quality. Other sources of driveshafts can also provide excellent quality but their pre and post-sales support will not surpass Tom Wood's.

Rock Jock is NOT Currie's offroad division. Roughly 2 years ago, the 3 brothers, Ray, Charlie, and John decided to split the companies to be completely separate entities from each other. Ray and Charlie took the axle and rear end side, John took the suspension side and started Rock Jock 4x4.

The two companies are fully separate and not connected.

Thanks all!

@jjvw I'll probably ship them to my friends in the US who will later ship everything to Riga. So far that worked woth other things including MrBaline's brakes. It's a hassle but I don't have many options!

@Jerry Bransford thanks, appreciate the advice. I've got an Adams Driveshaft SYE already intalled. Did that this spring.

As a follow up on the Savvy 4inch kit. I ordered the full configurable kit with Savvy double adjustable arms on 11/25/23, and got the last of the items in today. Prior to placing the order I emailed Gerald on the old Savvy website and he advised to order everything on the old site as it has not yet been merged with the SavvyZ site. I mentioned there is some confusion with the two sites and if parts for the LJ/TJ are still available. Gerald asked that I share that he intends to continue to support the TJ/LJ crowd.
