Looking for recommendations on a solid trustworthy person to do a re-gear on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an automatic tranny. have all the parts from RG already to go just need someone that knows what they are doing to put them in.
I wish I had a recommendation that far north but I don't, I'm just curious what size tires you're running and what ratio RG (great choice!) gears you got. I'm running RG gears myself.
A little farther east I would recommend Miles at Valley Differential.
Very reputable work. I made an appointment dropped of in the the morning and picked up in the afternoon.

Jerry I’m running 35’s with the RG 5.38 I’m Hoping that’s the right choice I’ve already purchased it and it’s been sitting in my garage for a few weeks now.
They are a great shop! I Contacted them over the phone and told them I was going to run the 5.38’s and they weren’t too excited about putting them in. They kept telling me “those are way too big your going to have issues. I left it at that, didn’t want to argue with them. I get pretty much the same response from the local gear shops I’ve contacted.

You’re going to have a difficult time finding anyone to install those gears with a warranty because the gear installer didn’t make any money on selling the parts to you.
