Ordered 2" BDS spring lift for the Tj, along with the 55128/55240 Rancho shocks. Have not installed the lift/socks yet, because I also ordered .75" spacers for up front to get rid of some of the rake. Now, I wonder if I ordered the right shocks for the front... I know it's kind of a tweener there, because the 55239/55241 combo of shocks seems to be used for 3" lifts, while the pair I purchased (55128/55240) works with 2" lifts. Any advice? Do you think either set would have worked?

It's been a while since I've done my lift but going through some notes now. 2 inch lift springs with a .75 inch spacer should work fine with the Rancho 55239 up front assuming you are able to use the full 9.5 inches of travel avaliable. Roughly 3 inches lift up front would result in 4.5 inches uptravel and 5 down travel for the shocks. 2.75 inch lift would have up at 4.25ish and down at 5.25ish. Rear 55241 would be a bit short for a rear 3 inch lift. At 2.25 inches of lift in rear, I had 5 up 3.25 down. Hope that helps.

You ask which Rancho shocks and I would say none of them. Both sets I've had have been horrible. Sorry. :( Andy

I have a feeling the 55128 (0-2" lift) and 55239 (2.5" +) would both be ok, but Rancho said the risk would be the smaller (55128) could over extend, since it's shorter. So, I ordered the longer 55239 just to be safe.
