Which Spicer inner axle seal should I go with?

I'll be replacing my inner axle seals soon, and planned to go with the Spicer 54831 for my 2004 Rubicon until I came across a Spicer publication saying the 2013455 seal replaces the 54831 seal.

Spicer says the 2013455 seal is an improved replacement for the 54381 with a triple lip design, but they don't say that it fits the TJ Rubicon.

Anyone have any experience with the newer 2013455 seal in a stock TJ Rubicon Dana 44?

I just ran across this same question while searching for seals. Magua hasn't been back in several years, so I doubt he'll read this and respond whether or not he found an answer. Does anyone else know if the 2013455 seal is an improvement and fits in a TJ Rubicon Dana 44 front axle?
