Who does PCP?

You couldn't see the forest that mule deer was standing in at 800 yards with iron sights, let alone the deer itself.

Also I should be clear that everyone I hunt with makes good shots, or tries their best to, the people telling me these stories are people who stop by our camp after we heard them lay down 15 rounds consecutively earlier in the day, or co-workers. I intentionally do not hunt with folks like that.
I used to hand load and played with the ballistics charts for the various bullet weights and what not. I tried to explain that a .308 in the weight they were using loaded at max would have a (pooma numbers) drop of 22' and drift of 5-7' with a 10mph crosswind if it was sighted in a 200 yards and they looked at me like I was a 3 headed frog. I told them I'd run a sheet of 4'x8' plywood out to 800 yards and I'd bet they couldn't hit it in 5 shots. Blank stares all around.

I am a springer guy but I appreciate the impressive abilities of the PCP guns.

Gamo Shadow 1000 .177 (Spring Piston)
RWS 350 Pro Compact .22 (Spring Piston)
Gamo Bone Collector Hunter .22 (Gas Piston)

I need to try PCP one day. ;)
