Thanks man. I cut it right beyond the factory tow hooks. It measures 34 inches from edge to edge.
I made a winch plate out of 3/4” aluminum for mine and kept the stock bumper sans milk jugs. I will eventually cut my stock bumper a bit shorter. Haven’t yet quite figured out how I want to put a bull bar on it to keep deer out of the grill.
The rear bumper is another matter since I had to add a hitch. The aftermarket hitch robs me of decent departure angle on the trails and I can’t even fit a new 31” tire- I have to mount a used 31” since enough circumference is worn off it clears my bumper. I could just buy or make a bracket that mounts the tire higher but have deferred that till I decide what I want to do. I made mounts for my hi-lift jack and carry it on the rear bumper horizontally where it clears the tailgate.
Btw- I am in central Wisconsin Dylan.
