Wildman's TJ is getting a face lift

I could hear the excitement in Karrlie's voice...

šŸ¤” wonder what she would be so excited about, seeing you pulling the Jeep out...🤣🤣🤣🤣

She knows once mine is out of the garage and it's straightened up that hers will be coming in to go under the knife...

The only thing she needs now to do her 4" lift is front & rear trackbars. I picked up some shock recently.

awesome!!! and it sounds good, what muffler are you running. you are still waiting for a tune from FRP?

I have a walker that the inside is loose so it rattles some, my exhaust is scabbed together still LOL.

I've got the 6Pack tune on the PCM right now. I need to talk with Ryan and see if we can't figure out why my right bank always runs warmer than the left bank. It was running too rich before but I'm not sure about now. I'll have to watch the wide band meter.

It's a Magnaflow round straight thru muffler.

Closest place that had a 15/16" crowfoot was Harbor Freight in Yakima. So I just ordered a set off Amazon & they'll be here on Friday. I've got other things I can do while I wait so it's not a huge deal.
Intake parts & the water temperature sensor adapter will be here Wednesday.

Like I'd said before I could drive it around the block in low range too....

@Apparition you'd made a comment in the winchline thread that you have your front camera so that you can see your winch. Where is the camera mounted?
I'm still trying to figure out where to mount my front camera. So looking for ideas. I was thinking I'd mount it to the engine skid so I could see what I was driving over.
Of course it'd be up where it couldn't get hurt.

Got the Jeep back on the stands so I can pull the tires off and get all the jam nuts tightened down.
Also need to do a alignment on the front axle.

One camera is top center grill slot. Old pics but it’s what I have.

The others are on the frame rails. I don’t use these much.

We're having a hellasus wind storm right now. And or course we just lost power. Will check the PUD website in a few to see when we might get power back.
So since I don't have a generator for the house I'm done until we get power back.

Power company is saying 1630 or later before we can get power back.

Mailman was nice to me and dropped off the 6Pack manifold. I'll be honest and say that I can't see where they'd done any repairs.

Damn it sure is SEXY..... but I'm gunna resist 🤪.

I'd started working on the winch end plate about 30 minutes before we lost power.
I got the end plate drilled and tapped for grease zerts only to find out the ones I had aren't long enough to get a good bite on the threads. I need some longer ones.

I drilled the holes that the zerts go into first but didn't tap them yet. Then I drilled the holes thru the bushing into the holes for the zerts.

These hole will allow the grease to reach the drum.

Going to have to make a shorter crossover hose for the front.

And most likely going back to the stock transmission dipstick.

Just not a lot of real-estate back there on the firewall.

But this is looking like the most likely routing of the air cleaner piping.

But I'll play with it more tomorrow after my appointment.

Looks like this will make getting access to the transmission dipstick interesting. šŸ˜‰

I guess I need to come up with a slug to help keep grease out of the drum next.

I'm going to guess you only need a half pump max? You're just trying to get a little grease there?

Yes. I'll look for a Ram 1500/2500 stock dipstick & tube to replace this with.

I have had great success for highway driving with the toe set at 1/8th in.

Do larger tires affect the amount of toe? I seem to remember somewhere that it does but can't seem to verify it. I can turn it in a little bit more.
Of course I can also always drive it and see what I think and if needed change it.

First trip into town with it I'm going to the tire shop to get the tires & wheels balanced.
