I’ve searched high and low for a tj that’s running fuel krank wheels. The smallest they make is a 17x9 with 4.5” back spacing. I would like to run 33” duratracs as well. I’m running stock flares on my 04 lj

Can anyone chime in on how these will fit or if they will rub? Would like them to be even or a hair outside flares.

Mine are Fuel Trophy D552 17 x 8.5 part number D55217856545. Tires are toyo 285/70-17 (33's). 2005 TJ has a 2 1/2 inch Rough Country lift. No rubbing. My Jeep is a Rocky Mountain Edition so I dont know if the flares are the same as others.

3.75-4" is usually the idea backspacing. With that wider rim and tire, you may have a bit of rubbing on the control arm during full turn of the steering wheel.

Noting a small wheel spacer wouldn't fix.
