Will 2003 fuel tank fit 1997?

Have a 97 and but I bought a 03 fuel tank not knowing they were different. Can I make the 03 work in the 97?

97-01 and 03-06 have different pumps i believe. However as long as the fuel line connections are the same and you have the same engine size as what you pulled that tank out of you should be fine :neng2kb:

Not 100% sure, but I believe the 03 tank will have provisions on it for the evaporations system lines which aren't present on the earlier 97 models (I think).

If this is the case, you'll need to cap those fittings off, which wouldn't be a big deal. I can't comment on the rest though.
