Will 235/75R15 tires fit on a stock TJ?

Sure ,the stock tires were the 30 inch 9.50 x 15 on the ravine rims. It’s got 225/75/15 on it now. With geolander Ht on it. With about 1/2 clearance on steering at full lock.

He says only 235 70 or 225 75 will fit...

I have 235-75-15 on mine now. They are a great size for a stock Jeep suspension and good price.

Mine rolled out of the showroom with 225-75-15. Sport editions came with 30-9.50-15 tires as an option which is very close match to 235-75-15.

The red Jeep photo above has 8” wide wheels and mine are 7” wide.

On my 2005 LJ, the owners manual lists two tire sizes. 235/75R15 and 30x9.5R15 as the larger option. Mine came factory with the 30x9.5R15 and that's the size still on it.
