I want to regear at some point in the near future and I didnt know if putting 5.13s in my daily driven Dana 30/35 would be too deep. I use my jeep every day on the highway and on road. I would say only 10% off road. I was also going to upgrade to limited slips while in the process. I have been advised against 5.13s so I didnt know if anybody has 5.13 with Dana 30/35 combo with 33s?

No, they definitely will not blow up your axles. Though if you are re-gearing, you’d be smart to turn that Dana 35 into a Super 35 so that you don’t blow it up while off-roading 👍

You shouldn't have any problems using 5.13 gears in your Dana 30/35 setup. Lockers are where those axles need to be beefed up in order to survive.

Since you have the 42RLE, 5.13 gears are the correct ratio to use with the 4.0 and 33" tires.

Only correct by default. He'd be happier with 5.38, but that isn't possible.
True, I sometimes wish I would have gone with 5.38 with 33"/4.0/42RLE/D44s.
