Haha Not sure how involved ya’ll are, but if it’s not too hard of an ask, i would be stoked if you could tag or direct me to the first responders here (mainly “search and rescue”/medic Jeeple? ), that would be killer! Eventually, when I can get the time, ill create a thread in an attempt to sift em out…been looking for threads for medic/ambulance jeeps, but haven’t found this particular subject of interest here quite yet… thanks a bunch!
I was an EMT back in the 90's. Good to have some first aid skills when wheeling. I've seen people fall and break bones. Another time (I wasn't on the run) someone had a heart problem and got flown out in a helicopter. Also had a pitbul attack someone in the middle of the desert. Also a vehicle rolled multiple times in the desert ejecting all 3 passengers (no seatbelts). You never know when your skills will come in handy.
Not really what you're talking about, but had a friend that converted a retired ambulance into a small RV. That was pretty cool, could use it as a tow rig.
I've been meaning to build a better first aid bag. Always good to carry some cardboard to use as a splint.
