I've had these problems too, and often fought them longer than I should have being stubborn.

yep. I originally had arms in exactly like you said but took apart bc the directions don’t say to do that way.

logically it made sense but got nervous to install wrong. Thank ya. I can get arms back in without a problem doing that way

I think most people don't want to spend the time squaring up their axle to make sure things are right. Just remember you want to make sure the axle is square to the frame and centered laterally.

Got close in 20 minutes before work this morning by extending upper control arm and then tightening until angle was close enough for now.

Next up is squaring up. Axle is close but a tad uneven on passenger side

How do shops do this? I’m guessing there’s some better way than using a hand held drill. Almost like an inverted drill press?

Got the motobilt bumper painted and mounted up.

I had to clearance all 6 mounting holes to get it to line up with my frame holes.

annoying to do on a 400 dollar bumper

What are people doing for fog light mounts?

I have the wires from my old bumper. So either need to mount new ones on this bumper or seal off the wires.

I like that bumper.

Savvy makes some light brackets that appear to mount where the tow hook bolts are. They show out of stock, but could probably be created pretty easily.

Think I’m going to tuck my wires out of way for now until I do winch. I’ll research some options for fogs until I’m ready to do that project.

Gladly taking recommendations

front end is (mostly) buttoned up. Haven’t torqued anything and need to bleed brakes.

Started on rear today. It’s a lot easier/faster once you’ve done before. I’m about half way done in just a few hours

Tore ACL 2 days ago so my build is going to be on hold for awhile. Sadly rear end is completely taken apart so I cant even roll it out of garage to have a shop finish.

Anything I should do to make sure jeep stays in good shape in garage? It hasnt been driven at this stage for 3ish weeks and likely will be a month before I can make any progress again

3 weeks is no big deal .. Stabil in the gas tank perhaps to be safe. Weather is still good so it won't be big of a problem I think. I am not an expert so curious to know as well.

Good luck with the recovery.

I leave mine for 3 months at a time. No biggie, especially if its inside where the critters won't get into it.

Mine has been in a storage unit since TJFest and likely will stay there until next spring. I'll put fresh fuel in it first thing when it comes out and then give it a once over while updating some stuff.
