Frame looks pretty good.
The tub has some rust. I think the carpet got wet but the owner wasn't aware. Is it easily fixable?

Personally I wouldn't touch that thing with a 30 foot pole.

When you see rust like that, it's not a question of IS it hiding anywhere else? It's WHERE it it hiding.

That frame has rust on it, someone's just sprayed it over with some black paint of some sort, which is doing a good job of hiding it. I can see the rust under it though, and I'm sure the inside of the frame is horrible too.

Unless you want a project (which is okay if you do), steer clear of that thing!

Given it's condition, that price is absolutely absurd.

No way. Pass on that one. Never seen rusty hose clamps before and even the clips that hold the air filter box closed are rusty. The brake lines going into the master cyclinder looked rusted or corroded. Wonder if it is a flood damaged vehicle?

No kidding... rusted under the hood isn't a good thing. Makes you wonder what the inside of the engine would look like if you cracked it open.

Thats winter salt rust, not just moisture. I'd be worried,,, and I'd use a body hammer to tap the frame. You are right, it looks painted. But the fenders say this is a rust belt Jeep. Alberta or Ontario.

Thanks for your input. I thought I could have live with it. Man, it must be hard to find really clean ones to buy.

Thats surprising for Vancouver.... my bet is it came from the east. There will be many better choices.

Kudos to you for lifting the floor mats. But the bubbling front fenders is a give away.

Yep, good ones can be tough to find. Good part is, seeing bad ones will help you find a good one. They tried to make that one look ok. But when you look at anything metal under the hood, it is rusty. Clamps, brake lines, ps lines, etc, all rusted.

Where do all these rust buckets come from?

I know where generally ...

Just say no.

No thanks .

Not what I'm looking for .

Too much rust sir .

Not interested .

There is enough to worry about with any used vehicle . Don't buy a vehicle designed for fun with problems .

Problems kill fun.
