Thinking of picking up a JKU for the misses...would you consider selling a 2012 Honda Civic & a 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD to pick up one of these?

You have to keep the taco haha. Those are so reliable. Personally not a fan of the 4 door model, but wives do love them. Not looking at that specific color per se (although the wife likes it), just one like that model, or a 2015. I might really miss the truck...
I guess I would like input from those whose significant other drives a JKU...
Qualifiers:
2012 Civic bought used in 2013, now has 66k.
2013 Tacoma access cab 4x4 bought new in 2013, now has 16k.
I think that's a great idea. My wife has the 2015 Honda CRV that she bought new and loves it. I like it too. We also have a Tacoma that is a great truck for so many different things.Lots of nice input so far, thanks to everyone for chiming in...this is not a must-do project, I was just considering the change.
More qualifiers:
The Tacoma is a great truck. I have not had any issues (shouldn't, considering it is 5 years old, with 16k on the odo) at all with it. It comes in handy when I need a truck, I just haven't needed it for hauling much. Also, it's just me, my wife, and our two tiny dogs. I have had at least 4 Toyota trucks, and none of them were any problem at all. The current Tacoma gets around 19 mpg., which I love. All of these things also make it very sellable also.
The Civic has also been trouble free. It developed an oil leak around 30k, but that was fixed under warranty. Just oil changes since owning it. It's only issue is my wife had a Rav4 previously, and she sits quite a bit lower in the Civic than she did in the Rav4, and her eyesight is diminishing. She would like a vehicle where she sits up higher and can see better. The JKU was my idea.
It sounds like I would be better served selling the Civic and looking for a used SUV that she would like better...
The thing that concerns me most is the issues some have had with the JKUs. My luck, I would end up with one of those.
Funny you should say that - my wife had a CRV some years ago she just loved. It got totalled in an accident, and she's missed it ever since.I think that's a great idea. My wife also drives a crv. We got it after her civic got broadsided. Funny thing is we were considering selling the civic and insurance gave us 3k more then we were hoping for.Funny you should say that - my wife had a CRV some years ago she just loved.
