WTB: Wrangler tj ( without ) RUST

I don't know where you're at specifically and how far you'd want to drive, but I ran into something similar and started looking in south into Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and down by Dallas. Denver to DesMoines. Then a dealer had one for sale that was really clean that had worked it's way from upper Arizona a year ago. So basically it was driven up for me.
If you're in lower Michigan, I'd start searching Craigslist a couple states south and see if you found anything. I takes less time to drive and/or costs less to ship than it does to fix one with issues.

search within a dry climate area.
there are few and far between worthwhile ones (rust free) around this area.
no offense but in my opinion, $5,000 price range... at least in this area wont be rust free unless your leaning towards looking at 4 cylinder models which i would expect a little more flexibility in price range.
