WTB: Warn 8274 Winch

Looking for a used (not wore out) Warn 8274 winch. CHEAP! I'm located in North Alabama.

warn and cheap don't seem to go together. i just priced one of those new and it was about $1800 i think

Even abused non-working 8274's seem to go for a good amount of coin.

I'd have to look it up to be 100% sure, but IIRC, there are no new 8274's out there, but there are new 8274-50's which was reintroduced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Warn 8274.

Just a few weeks ago they had a manufacturer display from warn at a large car show down here and I was talking to him. When I had my blazer back in the 80's it had a big old 8274 on the front and he told me they were still made but very expensive compared to some of the newer style winches. I remember using that warn stretched all the way out while tieing my truck to a tree while pulling my buddies blazer with his little boat and trailer while the water was up to his doors by the time I got there and we hooked up

I saw one on CL about a year ago that looked beat to hell and needed new line. Guy was asking 800.
