Went and drove the 03 Rubicon. Guy seemed legit and honest. But to be honest it's 4" suspension on 35" tires. It's a bit squirrelly on steering around town, he had suggested fixes, which I don't argue with. Just not looking for project. Could come back around to it, but I think...

Anything to check on the lockers on the Rubicons? Fun part will be testing the low gearing on pavement of the city.

Well, she looks great! I'm in the same boat with the 150k miles, 4.0, clean and I want A/C, but can either install or fix for the right price. I'm torn on the manual/auto debate. Want to teach my 15y/o to drive with it. I have zero doubt she could learn, but at what cost to a clutch!

Asked a few days ago about an 03 Rubicon. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it and it needs AC work along with other recent work. So, now I'm looking at an 01 Sport, but it didn't come with AC....he thinks maybe it came from Alaska originally. My question here is how difficult is it to add...

01 TJ The horn stopped working. Fuse and relay checked against other in panel. So those are good. I have been looking at other threads and trying to work through those suggestions. My fear is a broken/ damaged clock spring. Reason being I just replaced the steering gear box, 5 days...

Are you seriously on a jeep forum saying something else drives like crap? Death wobbles, bouncy, rough, top heavy, beat you to death on hwy! Still fun though. As for the vette...... Actually, I did a steering upgrade and it is fun as heck to drive. Throw the top down and go...

Well, I'm not forcing it on her. My oldest hated jeeps until she sat in one, then when we found the one she got she loved it. Hasn't looked back. My youngest wants the C3 vette sitting on the lift in my garage. That isn't happening.... at least until she's much older, nor is an 80s...
