I've been mourning the sale of my LJR these last two weeks. I've been anxious to really get into my '03 TJ and get it cleaned up, but the weather hasn't been cooperating. I may be potentially trading it for similar one, but a manual. During these few weeks of driving it though, I've come to the realization that I don't mind the automatic as much as I thought I would. It's actually been quite pleasant.
But onto the reason for the post:
I'm looking at picking up this TJR and I would like to know the thoughts from those more knowledgeable than I.
2003 Rubicon, Auto, 51K miles -

Smittybuilt 10,000 lb. winch with synthetic cable; I'm sure I left some upgrades out."
He was initially asking 28K, we're at 22k. It's an older gentleman that bought it in 2014, finished the build in 2017 and has been barely driven since then. 2000 miles since the build. He has a few built JK's. He says they've been intentional about driving it every so often, but it's just taking up space. What sort of things should I be looking for when I go to check this out? With mild traditional built TJ's I've done fairly well, but I don't know what to really look for when it comes to coilovers.
The tires, while low miles, are older. Haven't gotten a date code yet. My plan is to replace them with 35's.
I'm factoring in the need for gearing to 5.38's as well.
Those are the only two things I can see a necessary and immediate need for. I'm headed there on Monday to check it out. It was the earliest he could meet.
Appreciate the wealth of wisdom here.
