Timken vs National carrier bearings

I’m getting ready to do a super 35 with an e-locker. The Revolution shafts came with new outer bearings and seals, but I need carrier bearings. Per @mrblaine, they are the same part number for both regular and super 35 carriers (102949 bearing and 102911 race). National and Timken bearings are available. Anyone have experience to recommend one vs the other?

i always hear/see Timken or Koyo for bearings and National seals.

While National is one of the best in the seal game their bearings are not all that great. Stick with Koyo or Timken if you can.

As above Timken and Koyo are better choices, I have been told by a couple people whose opinions I trust that the Koyos are a little better than the Timkens are. Personally I'm running Timken carrier bearings without any problems.
