Hello, first - I have a 99 Sahara - can anyone explain why the Delrin bushings on some sites call for the small bushing and don't come with the bushing tool but when you look up the hinges they give you the same one for model run through 06? I've read several places the 99 has the older style hinge but again I've read just as many that disagree. Has anyone with a 99 used the tool to pound out the bushings and then placed the full sized bushing inside it? I don't want to waste the time of ordering the wrong part (and not getting the punch tool) because I just mounted my new hard top and the door is hitting it when you close it. Thanks, Andy

Thanks Toximus, so is that 99 and back? It gets confusing because many of the websites say the one size fits all tj's. It does not help it being a 99. I had the same problem buying rotors for it.
I don't remember the exact years that can have this. I've personally only seen it on a 97.
Why I emphasize "can" is because not all built in those years have this.
Take off your doors and peak inside the hinge to see what you have.
The knockout tool sometimes has a line on it that tells you where to cut for the shorter bushing though. The tmr one does
I got that knock out tool stuck in a hinge. It’s still there. It’s like the sword in the stone now. Had to get a new hinge from Davey’s.
I use cheap harbor freight drill bits now. Work my way up to the right size.
