If my memory serves me right that is a 352 cid V-8 also.

Just wanted to let you know that what you're looking at is actually an old Y-block, and most likely a 292. The Y-block came in 239, 272, 292, and 312 cubic inches. Most trucks ended up with a 292. The giveaway that it's a Y-block is the valve covers being held down with two studs coming through the tops of them, and nuts holding them on. Also, see that forward-facing exhaust manifold and the "crossover pipe"? That's a telltale sign that it's a single exhaust. It crosses over to the passenger side, enters the front of the passenger side exhaust manifold, and then exits out the rear of manifold. Wild, huh?

Yep see what happens when I assume? The 352 I had in my truck in AK was so unusual that I'd never learned what other engine options were offered at that time.

Live and learn.
