I have a jeep TJ in pretty good shape and I'm looking to put some money into it. Nothing crazy, minor lift, bigger tires, nothing too expensive either. For lifts should I go with a suspension lift or a body lift? And if you say suspension which I think your going to, would I have to change anything going with a 2.5? Other than the shocks would I have to make any adjustments or switch something major because like I said I want to put SOME money into it not ALL money into it. And also, with a 2.5 suspension lift could I fit 33s comfortably? I wont be doing any hard core off roading, maybe just some easy trails at some point in the future.

Im probably not qualified to make the recommendations you want. But, from that picture, it looks like you should really check out that frame before spending money elsewhere.

Beat me to it. I was going to suggest putting money into the frame instead of a lift.

Haha thanks I'm doing the frame soon but its really not as bad as it looks especially for a wrangler.

A 2.5” lift would work for 31s. You will need to add a 1.25” body lift on top of that for 33s.
