The unfortunate TJ of the day thread

Not a fan of the vehicle; but, how could he NOT take up 4 parking spaces? It's a bit like driving a motorhome.

I think he could've managed a more conservative piece of parking with two inline...if he tried.

That said, around here he would've parked it head-in in a compact car spot and left the rest stick out for everyone else driving the lot to negotiate... :D

That's how they do it around here too w/ the big trucks...
I drove a crew cab dually for a few years and almost always parked at the end of the row.
Some folks are not that considerate & the owner of this monster is clearly in that group, but he spent over $100K on a Jeep so he deserves whatever he wants. ;)

I always see the really big trucks in the handicap spots all cockeyed.

hey, i might resemble that comment!

A lot of this is the fault of architects and the requirements surrounding parking lot design. Ultimately, vehicles keep getting larger but the parking spaces do not. Even where I live, the assigned spaces, much less visitor parking, can barely accommodate a standard pickup truck. Throw in an extended or crew cab and you're now blocking traffic.

How much do y’all wanna bet that the rearmost axle isn’t even driven and it’s still got a stock engine?

So it's tag axle then....not that he needs one, he's not hauling anything in that rig. Then again, this vehicle isn't about what's needed... :D

"Compare it with the other jeeps on CL"

Oh believe me, I plan on it.

Let's not forget this one has a "roll cage" and "easily removable hard roof" unlike normal Jeeps. Pretty sure that top would be a nightmare to remove with the roof rack!

Also, notice that there's no switches for hardtop defrost and wiper so there's that.
