For 20 + years I worked for the US Postal Service in Alabama. 2 Years ago I transferred to the Department of the Navy in Florida. In Alabama, for about 4 years, I had a personalized tag that read GOPOSTL. When I went to renew on year 5, I got the renewal and several weeks later I received a letter from the Alabama Department of Motor Vehicles indicating that in 30 days my current registration would be suspended.

I went to my county probate office with the letter and I was then told that I must surrender the tag and re-register the vehicle. The reason...............get this, my personalized licensed plate, GOPOSTL, promoted violence. Go figure.

Clearly the Alabama Department of Motor Vehicles has no sense of humour...I think its a great plate.
Just something else were we have to be careful what we say do and write as it might upset somebody....I've said it before its time for the world to take a concrete pill and harden up.

By the way, they did let me keep the metal tag. There was some inter office discussion that ended when one young lady said,"Well, the tag is his property. He paid an additional amount for it every year." She then walked over and handed me the tag.

I deliver pork into Chinatown and around the bay. While carrying the pigs I hear all sorts of b.s. usually the real lefties yell “murder!!” Lol. I’ve heard everything and just smile. Having a cool County Sheriff is everything in getting a CCW.
