What oil are you running? Lot of us are running high mileage conventional oil. Even new RMS can leak on the wrong oil.

What wrong oil are you referring to that would cause a good RMS to leak?

Interesting, I’ve been running Redline 5w30 (for the turbo) with zero leaks 8 months. No need to swell a good seal.

Exactly. A good seal. In a modern engine. With a one piece seal.

The 4.0 was essentially drawn out on paper in the 50s and we're lucky it doesn't use a rope and graphite rear main.

The two piece seal needs the additives in high mileage oil to keep it from leaking. Or at least that's the established forum wisdom.

A good seal means not leaking. Mine isn’t leaking so no need to swell it.

I’ve read the documented hit-and-miss results of using high mileage and additives to make a good seal for folks who have leaks.

Generally any seal that is mopar.anything else will drive you crazy
