I'd say do something like Rocky Saddle first and then hit Funny/Moon Rocks in the afternoon Thursday or Friday morning?

My plan was to head out Thursday morning and arrive around 1230-1300. Rick understands my situation. Working Wednesday night till 2030.

I was on trail today in E ID panhandle and two issues cropped up that I have to fix. I've got a leak in the ARB air line and my winch doesn't work (at all). It worked yesterday to pull my son out at the ORV and it worked once today to pull a gal off a log, but since then I can't get it to go in or out. I'll start looking at it tomorrow afternoon. The air line has to be fixed. The lockers depend on it. The rig was bad a-— today though. Freakin' awesome.

I just recently picked up spare airline and those push fittings you mentioned. Definitely glad to have those in my bag. Losing lockers could ruin a trip. Hope you can get the stuff ironed out.

Iv been up near Everett all weekend I just saw this post. Unfortunately I didn’t have one but you are really close to me. I’m in maple valley so one town over.

@bbaldwin237 Got the winch working. There was some internal wiring that was incorrect. The handheld is working. The internal cab controls are intermittent. The in/out switches are the issue. I’ll be looking for some better ones.

unfortunately right now my ARB compressor is down completely. I have some things to check tomorrow. Need that for my lockers! Will keep you in the loop.

Mine likes to occasionally blow the big 40 amp fuses by the battery.

I'm sure it's buried in your thread somewhere, is it a single or twin compressor?

Worst case scenario, is there a way that the portable compressor from the red one could be temporarily hooked into the system to provide air to the manifold?

It’s a single. This one runs to the Bulletpoint auxiliary fuse box. Fuse there looked good. I can hear it click when I turn it on from in the cab. Going to smack the cylinder and see if it comes on. If so it’s the brushes.

My other one is a viair400. It’s big. Don’t know where it would go.

If it ends up being the brushes, it should be that whole cap assembly (MOTOR CAP ASSEMBLY 320111 https://share.google/BEMxOVfViPkxz2SZ4). Looks like it's about $45 but sourcing it locally might be the problem. According to the ARB site (https://share.google/szpEzmtmdRNJK9Y3F) there's some dealers over in your area that may have it. If not, I'm heading to Portland this evening for my doors. You could check with places that would be on my route between Olympia and Portland.

You can do 90% of the trails without lockers and not need to winch so I wouldn't let not having lockers stop you from going. I ran for years without lockers or a winch when I was POOR..... (Shit still am poor)

Just an FYI: Fire restrictions are now in effect in eastern WA.

With a statewide drought already declared and hot, dry weather predicted this summer, fire restrictions on WDFW-managed lands go into effect Monday, June 15 — about two weeks earlier than in recent years. These earlier restrictions are meant to reduce the risk of wildfire, keeping communities, wildlife, and the lands we all share, safe.
Starting June 15, the following activities are restricted on WDFW-managed lands in Eastern Washington:
• Fires or campfires, including those in fire rings. Personal camp stoves and lanterns fueled by propane, liquid petroleum, or liquid petroleum gas are allowed.
• Discharging firearms for target shooting or other purposes, aside from lawful hunting, unless otherwise posted. Target shooting is permitted daily only during certain hours at two Department ranges.
• Smoking, except in an enclosed vehicle. Do not throw lit cigarettes out your window.
• Welding and operating chainsaws, including the use of an acetylene torch or other open flame.
• Operating a motor vehicle away from developed roads. Parking is permitted within designated parking areas, including developed campgrounds and trailheads; and in areas without vegetation that are within 10 feet of roadways.

I've been sick the past two days so I'm going to say I am not coming at this point. My leg was finally starting to feel & look better too...
When I'm sick enough that I don't even go out to have a cigar you know I've got to be feeling like crap....

Yeah, almost no snow this last Winter. It’s catching up with us now. Some fires already around here. Sucks.

Wouldn’t be happy driving without lockers. I’d just be frustrated. It’s an entirely different way of driving.
