05 Rocky Mountain engine swap

I bought this RME knowing it needed an engine. So I found a good donor motor close by. It’s got the 6 speed manual so I replaced the clutch/pressure plate, flywheel, clutch fork, pivot ball, release bearing, front bearing retainer, master and slave cylinder. So that’s all good. I completed the engine swap last week and it runs amazing. But has a rear main seal leak. I knew I should have replaced it but didn’t because the guy I bought it from claimed he just replaced it and the oil pan gasket looks new. Oh well not too bad a job after the fact. Parts ordered and will complete the work in the next day or 2. And I put the soft top on it also.

Nice job! Now take the original motor to a machine shop, get it cleaned up and bored .030 over and throw a Clegg Stage 2 stroker kit at it and an Edelbrock aluminum head. Might as well do 1.7 rockers while you're at it.

That was kind of my plan. I was looking at the titan kits but the Clegg kits look good. My original motor has a broken rod ( not confirmed yet but I can hear it crunching when I turn the motor over). The engine swap was pretty straightforward other than a bit of time to get the crankshaft bushing for the automatic trans pulled out to replace with my new pilot bearing and bushing. The donor motor had an auto trans.
