What grinds your gears?

People who stand in a pathway, like a hallway or doorway and bullshit with other people.
Or in a store. They pick the narrowist point they can find, park their shopping cart, and stand in the remaining space, staring blankly at the shelf, hoping they can will whatever it is they want into the cart by osmosis. Just grab the dang cookies and get out of the way!

I hate dogs.
I have 2 and have always had dogs but i'm tired of dogs in restuarants, dogs in grocery stores, dogs anywhere near my food. leave them home
Oh hell yes! I have dogs too. But these people slap a “service dog” tag on their pooch (bought on the internet) and now that pocketbook size service dog is in the restaurant, grocery store, office buildings, church, etc. even worse their 50lb mutt same thing. Sorry, no!!!! Don’t want your dogs hair, fleas, germs etc. anywhere near me. When I see that I want to pull out a joint and light it and blow it in their face claiming it’s medicinal.

Disclaimer: not minimizing the needs of folks that truly use marijuana for medical purposes. Also noting that I do not use marijuana at all (well not in the last 20 years)...

My father (deceased) was ex military. He looked like hanks father from King of the Hill. In his golden years if somebody was standing in the middle of the isle at the store. He would say “excuse me” loud enough to hear clearly. And if the person did not move he would turn his head to the side pretending he too was oblivious and run his cart into their cart or the person. He lived with me at the time and if I was in the store with him I would shamelessly walk the other way about 10ft when I thought it was about to happen. It was funny but embarrassing at the same time.

I'm a pretty laid back guy and outside of things I'd only discuss in the politics sub-forum, there's not much that gets me. However, one pet peve is seeing people double parked in a full or near full parking lot.

We all gotta park and you don't deserve two spots because you're special or because you bought a truck too big for you to handle.

Funny, because a guy at my gym goes this and his is a Dodge Ram too! He takes up FOUR parking spots. I always want to say something to him and just tell him how much of a douchebag he is for doing this, but I'm not going to start a fight over something like this. It pisses me off though, that's for sure.

You are missing the biggest offender. The guy/girl that does not use the on ramp to get up to speed.

Seriously it takes a jeep a long time to get up to freeway speed and you want to do 40MPH and try to merge.
They either have a 4.0L or 3.8L.
3.6L is quicker.

People with advanced college degrees (I work with a bunch) who act like I'm a crook because in the skilled trades, I make equal or more money than them. We all choose our paths...don't hold it against me because I chose the fast track to $.
I got my bachelor's, but if I was to do it all over again, I'd probably go to a trade school. There's some seriously good careers down that path and anyone who underestimates people based on going to a trade school doesn't know what they're talking about.

People who tailgate you when there is a long line of traffic in front of you. You can't go any faster... If I pull over and let them go by, where are they going to go?

Ha, this one gets me too! Like okay buddy, you're not going to get there any faster.

I often hope they rear-end me, just so I can get some free insurance money.

X2 to this. I told my wife that I'll probably encourage our kids to go to trade school as oppose to college. Unless you're going to college to major in something very, very specific (i.e. biochemistry), then going for a degree like "business" is just nothing but a big paperweight to put on your desk.

My brother-in-law is a union plumber and makes $100 an hour on most days, easy. He ALWAYS has work, and there is a huge demand for plumbers at the union, so it's a job that will always have availability.

Trade school these days is the way to go in most cases!
