That depends on what your definition of safe is.

Looks like a 3 inch body lift. People have run them for years.

To me its ugly as hell.
But when you want to fit tires and you are broke as hell......

Replacing that 3" with a 1" to 1.25" body lift would be a great idea but you'd have to undo some other likely mods that were made just so that 3" (a stupid height) BL could be installed. The tcase shifter and gas filler neck assembly for sure, likely the transmission shifter too.
