Does anyone know if a set of LED taillights will go on a 2000 tj? I know that they will not be plug and play, but will they physically fit? The led style sit considerably outboard of the stock position. Specifically is the tj tub corner radius the same on tj's as it is on 07-17 jk's jl's?

No they won’t. The tubs are different shape.

And personally, the look out of place. Like they don’t belong.

Quadratec's are truly plug and play. They come with different pigtails depending on your year. They also come with a correct flasher relay. I love mine. Very bright.
I like the Savvy lights even better, but they require a slight license plate relocation, and need a light to stay legal.

I have the Quadratec led taillights. Much brighter than stock. I also converted the front turn signals and sidemarkers to LED.

My total running/parking light draw is less than 1 amp, yet brighter than stock.

Pretty much plug and play.

You have a link to your LED turn signal lights?

I bought the bulbs from superbrightleds.com. Choose the ones to fit the sockets. You'll need to convert the sidemarker to a 3 wire setup. I've posted a diagram on how to do that on the interior LED conversion thread.

I like my LED tails, they're from Off Road Only (Oro). I have the poision Spyder license plate light on my spare.

The Oro litedots are nice and they have good customer support but I’ve gotten tired of having to install the warranty replacements the last 10 years. There is another one like them them that some people like too

Previous owner had ORO litedots that we're about 10 years old I found out. I called ORO because I had a few dead LEDs on my driver's side but passenger was fine. Asked me to send him a pic and offered to replace it (waaaaay out of warranty) for $50.

I thought, great a new led tail for $50 isn't bad. I get the package and they are two of the most current design and function. For $50, he gave me two new lights because they want their product to be that good.

I was impressed. He owed me nothing and went above and beyond.

I love my ORO.
