I measured the deflection in my chain and it's somewhere between 1/2" to 3/4" ... didn't taken a particularly precise measurement.

I don't know what the FSM says on that but that sounds like way more than there should be.

It says deflection should be no more than 1/2". Got the new chain and sprockets in today... Cover and then the rest tomorrow!
