Opinions of Method Wheels

What do you guys think of these wheels on a black LJ. Running 33x12.5x15 KO2's.

Not sure if I love them or hate them.

Would prob run them without the center cap.

Any concerns with the offset or backspacing?

Link isn’t working but Method wheels are quality. They’re also light in comparison to some of their competitors. If it weren’t for the fact that the 8x15 5 bolt designs weren’t so common (limited styles) I’d have bought myself a set. Didn’t want to look like half the other Jeeps on the road.

Run the exact wheel on the 4Runner. If you don’t want to deal with the beadlocks or need them, they offer the same wheel in a non-lock version. Have run methods on both the runner and my F350. Quality wheels.

To each his own, but on a black LJ or TJ I prefer a polished aluminum wheel or one that is predominantly polished aluminum with black accents. Otherwise it's too much black. An anthracite, gun metal, et al is usually too dark for my tastes.

I think certain color TJ's are difficult for wheel decisions. Black, Red and Silver are at the top of that list

There ya go! I actually really like these wheels. I think they'd look good on a TJ or an LJ.

Aesthetically, I like the wheels, but I’m personally not a fan of faux beadlocks.

Red is kind of tough, I got sick of black wheels, but didn't want a shiny polished aluminum either, so I split the difference and went with gray Mammoth Boulder wheels.

Where does Method build their wheels?

I’ll guess they’re designed in Cali or somewhere out west and made in China. Heck, AEV’s are Chinese build, but with excellent quality control.

I had a method nv305’s on my old ‘13 4Runner and really liked them. I have considered getting the 15x8 mr304 double standard wheels but I just think 3.5 bs is too much. If they made it 3.75 I would have bought them.

I like shiny polished aluminum on black, black chrome/gunmetal on most other colors. Bronze is perfect for dark green. Machined finish aluminum is good on most colors too. I'm running satin black factory steelies with flame red body color center caps right now. Still not sure, but center caps are easy to change. I really like the centers of the op wheels with the smallish holes, but I'm old. That's like mid 80s centerline territory. Not a fan of fake beadlocks but they are everywhere these days. I like them overall.

I've always been a fan of the black wheels but today after wheeling I got to thinking... I kind of like matte tan!

That is the natural color of a jeep wheel. My black shows through bot the tan is definitely there.
