All of the fuses in my engine fuse box are hot when the car is turned off. Nothing like the radio is on or anything but all the fuses are reading hot. I don’t understand how that’s possible. Can anyone explain?

The fuse block under the hood is directly connected to the battery. There is no switch. The are ment to always have power. This includes the main power for the relays. Nothing to be concerned about.

Is everything electrical operating as is should? It is likely that anything which controls power is 'after' the fuses.
Exactly. For the same reason all the circuit breakers in our homes are always hot yet our lights, TV, oven etc. are only on when we turn them on.
Yeah the only issue is I was trying to use a fuse tap on the engine fuse box for DRL but they don’t turn off with the car

That’s what I figured I had to do. Do you know of any holes in the firewall near the glovebox or should I just drill a new one and silicone seal it?

Oh frig, that's a good question. I know I had to drill a hole to run some 6 gauge wire through, but I can't remember if there are any smaller holes there or not.
