Purple LED lights for HVAC replacement

I've read the very helpful forums on here about changing the lghts out and also links to which LEDs work with my jeep but I can't seem to find ANY 4mm purple LEDs for the center HVAC controls... I saw Chris posted This last year but there is no option for purple. I've been searching the last hour and can't come up with anything.

Those appear to be only for the instrument cluster.

I read that they need to be 4mm to fit into the hvac, those say 10mm. Am I wrong on this?

The part that goes inside its 4 mm and the base that keep the light in place its around 10 mm.

Thanks for this, That website is awesome but I can't find purple LED in that size :/

I didn’t see this until just now, but in the questions some asked if they would fit in their 2006 Wrangler climate controls. Someone replied that they did not fit the controls on their ‘99. I dont know what type of controls a ‘99 has, but my 2006 has the knobs instead of he sliders and those look like the green ones I put on mine from superbrightleds. The same ones in your original that Chris had linked.

Is yours the slider style?

They looked purple till I put other brands of purple LEDs into the other areas. Now they kind of look deep blue.

I have the same as you! 2000 sahara. So those worked? They looked like the base was too big based on what I was reading for 97-01 wranglers. But if they worked in yours I'm sure it'll be fine! By the way your car looks rad, I was hoping for the s ame look!

I was going to get these LEDs for the courtesy lights, these work yeah? Also I haven't figured out the dome light on the sound bar.. need that purple too

I used these for the dome light, under dash and the automatic shifter. The only one I had problems trying to get in was the shifter. I got it in, but I doubt it is going to come out easily. It was a tight fit.
