Hey guys. I am new to the forum and loving all of this collective information. So many inspiring jeeps on here. Can't wait to get mine built the way I have plans for. Anyways..
I have some speaker pods that install in the back seat along the lower side of the seat against the factory roll bar. The ones i have are black, not tan like the photo. I can send actual pictures of them upon request. I think new they run about $90 without speakers. Would like to get $35 for them. THEY DO NOT COME WITH SPEAKERS. Speaker hole size is 6 1/2" on the lower side and standard tweeter size on top. Great for components without taking up hardly any valuable space. They are light so shipping would be cheap. Buyer pays shipping.

Are the ones you have the Vertically Driven Supreme or Deluxe? Deluxe has the tweeter speakers on top too.

These are perfect for people who do not have the factory subwoofer console, that want to add a subwoofer.

@208_TJ , welcome to the forum. I’m over in Spokane, but I usually wheel in ID. Have you started a build thread? I don’t want to take up this thread, but curious what your plans are.

Get a pair of Rockford Punch 6.5" in those and a small kicker amp and you can get some decent base without altering your space too much.

I have not yet but will be soon. I am looking to build mine to be able to be daily driven and be able to go "just about" everywhere. It is not and wont be a daily driven vehicle, but i want it to drive and be dependable like one.

I’ve just recently met a number of members from NITB. Most of them are building for long arms and 37’s. I’m on 33’s and recently tried 35’s for a week. Went back to 33’s. 35’s was too much for a DD. If you want me to help with wrenching, let me know. There’s good wheelin in ID in a few spots near Pinehurst.

Freight seems to be around 22 to 50 depending where you are located. If you want to estimate yourself the box dimensions and weight is:

still up for sale

This could be a tough sale for you as Quadratec sells new black pods with speakers for $89 and free shipping.

Your ask price with shipping is between $55 and $85 and they do not include speakers.

I was actually interested until I saw shipping, so a local sale may be a better option for you, but again, a cheap 6.5" component set is gonna cost at least $60, and the Thump T8652 speakers that come with these Vertical pods cost a little more than $60.

I agree. I honestly didn't think the shipping would be that much. I'll hang on them and hope to sell them locally.

When I was looking for Rubicon fender flares, the cost of shipping was more than the flares themselves. GLWWs, but I want to ask do you not like them or have a use for them?

Oh, you may want to price out USPS, FedEx and UPS. You could get different rates from them.

UPS is always more expensive, FedEx is pretty cheap and reliable, USPS will lose it and tell you a month later 😂

Funny, but not, last week we had two packages delivered by USPS and the tracking said left at garage. No packages so we called the Post Office who spoke to the driver and said he left them there. My wife goes the post office, pulls up her phone to activate our security cameras to prove out no packages were left. The driver changed his tune and said he left them in the mailbox. End result is our loss, but I think we may get a PO Box to avoid that going forward.
