Will my speedometer work with a 241 Rubicon transfer case?

Once you swap in the 241 tcase you'll need an external speedometer calibrator like a Speedohealer. A 241 tcase doesn't have a speedometer gear output like your OE 231 tcase does. A 241 has no speedometer gear at all.

Two different questions. He is asking if the speedometer will work and yes it will. Just plug the Sport connector into the 241 sender connector and the speedo will function. The question you answered is how to correct it for accuracy if it is not reading the MPH correctly.

Ya the plugs are the same i never got the 4wd light to work
There are probably 50 write-ups on the various forums that tell you have to fix the 4wd light. All you need is the Airtex switch 1S4219 which looks almost exactly like the switch in the 231 but functions exactly opposite. Put that in place of the mode switch in the 241. After that, you can look closely at the connector on the harness and figure out where to put the slot that lets it plug onto the new switch or you can overspend on the AC Delco repair connector PT724 and splice that on.

Is there any difference between the Airtex and NTK 1S4219 switch?
