Watch These Yahoos Pull A Jeep's Body Right Off Its Frame After It Got Stuck

Haha, no kidding... Trying to recover it from the roll bar? Sheesh!

Wow, just wow. I have no idea what they were trying to accomplish by pulling it sideways. Maybe get the passenger front tire exposed or expose the tow hooks?? I don't know, but they were absolutely stupid to try that maneuver.

There's another one similar to that except it's a red cherokee and they yank the entire axle out of it.

Some people......

It happens to blue ones too!

What I don't understand is the guy recording...He OBVIOUSLY knew it was a bad idea, yet started his camera, instead of getting involved and helping out. Helping out is generally what wheeling is about, no? Kinda the same with boating...If I see someone doing something stupid or ignorant at the ramp, I try to help, not open my phone and record the mayhem.

Maybe they did offer help, but were turned down...Pride can teach some EXPENSIVE lessons.

When one offers sound advice, you can pretty much tell instantly if it is going to be taken or ignored. We've heard folks struggling behind us on trail and walked back to see if we can give a hand. In general, we get ignored so we take that as an opportunity to just sit back and enjoy the show.

One I didn't enjoy was at the last fall on Outer Limits with a YJ that had just been painted and they did a nice job. The owner was the pres. of a well known club in the area and walked up to survey the fall as we were finishing up. I asked if he wanted to know how to get through it and he said yes. I showed him the key points to avoid damage including the big one which is the big rock on the left that eats hoods. The reason it does is because the right front tire starts up a sloped rock and leans you towards the driver's side so your instinct is to turn more right to avoid the big rock about to eat your hood and come in the driver's door.

I stood on the rock and showed him that if you turn right, you climb higher and lean further into the rock and then get bit hard. Avoid the instinct and turn left a bit and it will come down and lean you away from the rock and save the hood, mirror, door, and door jamb.

He says he's got it. Gets in the rig, lets instinct kick in, rock takes a nibble out of the hood, gets a bit flustered because his shiny paint is now on the rock, turns more right and puts a big dent about the size of half a football in the hood. I'm trying to get his attention but he can't take his eyes off the rock that is eating his hood. We watch a bit more and it becomes obvious he doesn't want our help so we walk away.

Do what you can and hope they listen.
