How can I fix this soft top?

I bought a 97 tj and it has a best top soft top on it. The windows are great and and color is not very faded. The only problem Is at the front corners where the softtop connects to the top of the windshield, it looks like the previous owner use some pliers and tried to force down the plastic seal into the channel and it mangled the plastic all up and the fabric at the corners is starting to tear and it let's a little water in. Is there any way I can fix this and if not. Could I still sell the windows and frame and maybe even the soft top and if so how much should I list it for.

Ouch! That's going to take an auto upholstery shop to try and repair that, or a new soft top skin.

I’ve used Aquaseal for all sorts of fabric/ repairs to flexible materials. While it won’t look perfect, you could put some on and smooth it out at the corners. Maybe add some black dye and use a piece of fabric with similar texture as either a patch over the top, or when the glue is near set, put the textured material on reversed to try and give the glue a similar texture. You will end up with a waterproof seal and a pretty decent appearance if you take your time. Being that it is higher up than eye level, most people won’t even notice the repair.

You would probably need to just replace the top.

Might try this. Works for NASCAR. I tried iron on patches and they wouldn't hold around the edges.
